Very good overall. Thanks for your efforts! However, most auto-generated numbers need some sort of Date moniker. Being able to extract date information is crucial. We need to see something like "createdon.getMonth()", which is common XRM syntax in script. There's currently no easy way to do this that I've been able to find other than fancy footwork with SubString & IndexOf, which is problematic.

In short it works. Used on several entities, easy to configure and allows you to add autonumbering very quickly. No need to use anything else.

I created a custom entity and for that I needed to create an auto number field. I downloaded this solution and configured it to use with a custom entity and it worked simply great. Thanks for this wonderful solution!

We are using this AutoNumber for one of our client CRM Online. This by far is the only solution that works on CRM Online. Keep up the good work.

Does what it says it does. Very easy to setup and configure. Auto-number format is quite flexible. Overall, a neat, convenient plug-in. Thanks xrmbits!
